ABOUT PREME AND KILLA WATTS
Terrell “Preme” Wilkerson aka (Hot Charlie Nickelz)
hails from Victoria, VA and his partner
Rashawn “Killa Watts” Watts is originally from Newark, NJ. The two of them met in high school years ago on the grid iron playing football for the Lunenburg County Central Chargers.
With both being vicious competitors it
wasn’t long before the two connected.
The two also shared a love for rap music and began
running with a local rap group called the University (U.N.I.) for short. After high school the two recorded a few demos
they shared with peers before going on as solo artist.
After finding trouble in 2003, a refocused Preme
return to the rap scene in 2006; with a vengeance releasing mixtapes “VA to NC” “Vintage Preme” and
“Hot Charlie Nickelz It’s Official”.
Killa Watts recorded during this time as well
always catching the streets with hood classics
like “Crazy”. In a hot pursuit of a music career
a blessing fell out of the sky in late 2007, when
Preme met Freekey Zekey through a mutual friend.
Killa Watts came aboard shortly after and after a tragic
event that took the life of a child hood friend in April 2008 the two decided to reunite as a group.
